Without us, gone!", 2:C - On 2 January Trump embarked on a series of tweets complaining about the Palestinian territories: "We pay the Palestinians HUNDRED OF MILLIONS OF DOLLARS a year and get no appreciation or respect.", 3:B - Trump made the criticism in a tweet discussing recent protests in the country., 4:C - Yes, you're right. It's not a country, but a US territory. So Trump effectively scored an own goal when, in defending his administration's handling of rescue efforts after hurricanes Irma and Maria, he used Twitter to declare that Puerto Rican infrastructure had been a disaster before the hurricanes., 5:A - During his election campaign, Trump said of the people coming from Mexico to the US: "They’re bringing drugs. They’re bringing crime. They’re rapists. And some, I assume, are good people.", 6:C - TRICK QUESTION! In July 2015, in a tweet addressed to the rightwing US political commentator Ann Coulter, he praised her appearance on Fox TV and said: "Our country has become a dumping ground for the world"., 7:B - Trump described Germany as "a total mess" in a tweet about a man being shot inside a Paris police station, which begs a whole host of other questions. He also said Angela Merkel was "ruining Germany" when she was picked as Time magazine person of the year in 2015., 8:B - Pete Hoekstra previously claimed there is "chaos in the Netherlands, there are cars being burnt, there are politicians that are being burnt ... and yes there are no-go zones in the Netherlands"., 9:B - While ranting about the Palestinian territories, Trump also cited Pakistan as a country where the US pays billions of dollars for no return., 10:A - TRICK QUESTION! It was the US. Trump tweeted this in January 2016 when campaigning to be president., 11:C - In May 2016, Trump described trade relations with China as raping the US., 12:A - Trump made the reference when boasting about the size of his nuclear button on Twitter: "North Korean Leader Kim Jong Un just stated that the 'Nuclear Button is on his desk at all times.' Will someone from his depleted and food starved regime please inform him that I too have a Nuclear Button, but it is a much bigger & more powerful one than his, and my Button works!"

  • In compiling this quiz we were unable to find any examples of insults directed at Russia. We also are aware that Puerto Rico in question 4 is a US territory, not a country, but it would make the answer a lot easier to guess if we mentioned that up-front in the question.
